This week we went to Wendover together for the first time. It was a little Fall break getaway. We didn't win any money, but we had a blast. On our way there we stopped at the salt flats and Amanda got to taste the ground. It is really salty! When we got to Wendover the majority of the crowd were seniors (it was a Monday night), which was nice because by 10:00pm the joint was pretty quiet. After much drinking and some gambling, we hit the hay in our awesome suite which was super cheap. (It had track lighting along the whole ceiling!) We headed back the next morning and 30 minutes from home we had a little adventure. We were almost out of gas. We got off in Grantsville, which is a teeny town, and drove along a rode that had cows walking on it. After an anxious 10 minutes where we thought we were stranded
with the cows we found a gas station, filled up, and got home. All in all a good time.
